Dr. Gary Fortinsky
Dr. Gary Fortinsky graduated from the University of Toronto in 1992. Shortly after, he opened his own dental clinic with a natural (or biologic) philosophy. His studies in holistic approaches started with a three year course in homeopathy through the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy where he received his fellowship and later his Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH) designation. As well, he is a licensed homeopath in the province of Ontario. A few years later, Dr. Fortinsky completed a two year course in craniosacral therapy. Due to his pursuit of treatments that support natural healing and the structure of the body, he also received training in Oral System Biology (working with the mouth and tongue to encourage proper breathing) as well as Calcium Therapy to treat gum disease. He is an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and has received SMART certification.
Meet Our Doctor
Always looking to give back, Dr. Fortinsky enjoys teaching, lecturing yearly at the 2.5 day advanced course at the National Dental Seminar in Homeopathy. He has also taught in the graduate program of the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine and has published a number of articles in the dental literature regarding holistic thought over the years. He is very passionate about holistic health, so much so that he drives his family crazy sharing all the new information he is always learning about.
